The SPARK program - an initiative supported by the VP Research Office, Associate Vice Principal (Communications), the Faculties of Agricultural & Environmental Sciences, Arts, Engineering, Medicine, and Science trains students in the skills necessary to communicate scientific research through the media.

SPARK became WARM SPARK in 2004

Since its creation in 2002, the students of the McGill University SPARK and WARM SPARK programs, under the direction of Professor Linda Cooper (Faculty of Science), have published numerous articles in both local and national Canadian newspapers and magazines.
